How do I manage the activities for the opportunity such as sending emails, scheduling of appointments etc? Is this handled by the Elead Sales Activities API?
Use the Sales Activities API for creating scheduled or completed activities for the customer/opportunity. As for sending emails, that comes down to the desire of the ISV. If the ISV is sending the emails and persisting that email into Elead then use the Sales Activities API. If the ISV is wanting Elead to send the email, then the ISV needs to use the opportunities API (Opportunities – Send Email).
