Is there a way to add parts to any line on an existing RO in order to automate parts additions via my application whereby minimizing dealership user manual entry?
The RO API allows for “pre-assigned” parts in two ways, via OpCode if the OpCode used has preassigned parts configured in Drive, and directly into the API via the Request body. This is for both on the Create of an RO and on the Add/Update of a Service-Line. However Fortellis does not have a Parts API to lookup parts. These are “pre-assigned” parts and still require interaction from the DMS side to sell the parts on the RO.
