How to create and delete service appointments

Is the POST- Create Repair Order the correct API to create a service appointment?  If so, how are appointmemts and repair orders differentiated on the platform?  

Also, how is a service appointment deleted?

Thank you for reaching out, the Create Repair Order or CDK Drive Repair Order API can only be used to create and update repair order records. It cannot be used to interact with a service appointment record. Repair Orders are records created at the point in which a vehicle is brought in for service where a service appointment is a record for tracking when a vehicle will be brought in in the future. These records exist as separate pieces on the CDK Drive DMS. At this time there are no public APIs to support creating, updating or deleting service appointment records. If you are an existing CDK ISV, please work with your CDK DOS or CSM to request communication on new and BETA APIs that might be available for API functionality that is in the works.
